Philosophy
I believe that we should enjoy the wonderful world around us, so it is paramount that we take care of our environment so that future generations can do the same. Currently, we use an unsustainable amount of the world's resources and pollute faster than the earth can absorb. We need to move towards a better balance. We need to develop clean power generation and more environmentally friendly transportation. We need to reduce our reliance on nonrenewable sources and decrease our production of persistant pollutants. We need to realize that our choices about what products we buy, what food we eat, and how we live our life have important consequences to the world around us. We lead by example and we vote with our money, so it is important to consider the environmental implications of our choices.
